July 16-July 22, 2010
Nana and Grandpa arrived and couldn't wait to get their hands on Porter and Eli! I saw Evan pull in the driveway and Lino the Landlord cornered Ross into an Italian conversation and Janet bolted upstairs with eyes searching for the boys. What a fun time for all of us now that they are here!
Janet and Ross really took the Italian lifestyle to heart during their stay. Evan and I are positive they know the streets of Sacile better than we do with all their walks and groceries they picked up along the way. Our classic Sacile/river/belltower picture.
We found out the kayak club met daily. We watched the little ones practice for a little while.
A unique look at the belltower.
On our way back to the house after a long but worthwhile trip of traveling.
Evan double fisted again. Porter on the left and Eli on the right.
Evan having a conversation with Eli. They are still so teeny and their little legs and arms are all wrinkly with skin they have yet to grow into.
Eli letting us know that he's done with that particular conversation. Maybe it had something to do with how hot we were in the apartment.
Really letting us hear all about it.
Porter waking up from a nap. Ohmygoodness. So little.
Stretching it out. That flash really gets him every time.
Ahhh. Gelato. Enough said.
Family pic with the mountains in the background.
Another nap. They slept for a long time in the pack and play, next to each other--near the window during the day and in our bedroom at night.
SAD day. Our own Sacile going away for the Mowrys. Me and my Ceci girl. Oh how we miss them!
I cannot get over how small they are, yet how much bigger they are since the day they were born.
