Three years ago when the Air Force moved us to Little Rock, AR, we were excited, nervous, not ready...an entire host of emotions. We found our way around, got settled in our very first home, bought our Casherboy and made some really good memories with family, old friends, and new friends. Chris and Abby Daniels were our closest friends while there and we continue to stay in touch with them in their new station in Tucson, AZ. They came for a little visit in May. Abby is an attorney with Evan and Chris is finishing up his Bachelor's on his way to vet school--we prefer A&M Vet school and it is in the running :)
Evan met the Daniels' in Villach after they spent a few days in Germany/Austria. Friday night we enjoyed catching up like it was just yesterday we were all together and enjoying the sunset on our roof with some wine and cheese. We finished the night, where else, but our favorite little eatery in Sacile, Cellini's.
Saturday morning we enjoyed coffee at our little spot down the street and then walked around to show them a little bit more of Sacile. Then onto Prosecco Road. The Mowry's introduced us to this little agriturismo a while back and we wanted Chris and Abby to enjoy it as well. We were able to sit outside this time and take in the scenery and clear, blue sky. This is our spread: bread, various cured meats, vegetables, beans, and cheeses (not pictured). Prosecco count: 2 bottles.
Execution. Please notice Abby's mad skills of keeping her prosecco glass in her hand.
One more time just for fun.
Abby uncorking the second bottle.
The cork went sky high!
Chris carefully opening another bottle.
And there goes the cork!
The corks.
Me and my love.

If you've ever met Chris, he's a really funny guy. Abby thinks so too.
Gotcha!
My turn to uncork a bottle.
Abby was laughing so hard she had to take a break on the bench. We had such a great afternoon.
The roses this time of year are in full bloom and so is my belly!
Prosecco Country.
Sunday morning we took Chris and Abby to Gorgazzo, which has a spring and a nice walking area.
Until next time Chris and Abby--we have more wine waiting to drink together on the roof.
