Easter 2013

We decided to stay in San Angelo for Easter and it turned out to be such a fun, relaxing weekend with Evan and the boys.  We went to the early service at church, which was followed by breakfast, and then an egg hunt.  Of course by this point, after the children's sermon, nursery, and breakfast--our shirts never got tucked back in.  But they started out so nice and ironed for maybe 3 minutes.

Porter and Eli both have very different strategies--as with everything else.  Porter wanted to gather as many eggs as possible.  Eli was satisfied with one egg and wanted to open it up, eat everything inside, and then move on to the next egg.

There was a man playing the bagpipes near the entrance to church before the next service started.  They watched him for a long time.

Since we went to church pretty early, their Easter baskets had to wait until after church.  They loved their bubbles, movies, books, and rice krispie treats.
My painted egg from Silvia in Vigonovo.  I love it because it reminds me of the huge hydrangea bush that bloomed outside the house in Sacile each summer.  Porter and Eli painted the other eggs with Sutton in the backyard.
