And now we're home! The outfits below were made by Evan's sister Jillian. Don't the boys look like little businessmen? On the back, since we did not know names/initials, she put E1 and E2.

Week 2
July 2-July 8, 2010
And now we're home! The outfits below were made by Evan's sister Jillian. Don't the boys look like little businessmen? On the back, since we did not know names/initials, she put E1 and E2.
Sleeping peacefully.
Day 9 pic. Porter is under arrest!
And here's how they woke up. Both of the hats had wiggled off--check out Porter's hair! And Eli wanted out of the blanket.
My mom washed their clothes and our laundry is bit lengthy. Wash takes 2.5 hours for one load and can't run the washer and dryer at the same time. So we hang most items.
Two heads are better than one.
Day 10 pic. Mrs. Elder made the boys a bunch of monogrammed onesies. They made it much easier for all their doctor appointments in the beginning. Even though they don't look alike and we know them apart, it was easier for the medical staff.
Happy 4th of July!
Day 11 pic. I cannot believe how teeny they are on that little pillow.
Gram swaddles Porter. We are big swaddlers around here. Eli loves it and still gets swaddled every night and sometimes for a nap or two during the day. Porter wiggled out of almost every swaddle he was in and we stopped it around 5 weeks. Now we swaddle him at night and he sleeps a lot better.
Evan swaddled Eli.
Our little snuggler is snug as a bug in a rug.
Porter, who wiggled out of his swaddle blanket, having a little Daddy time.
Double fisted. This happens a lot.
I mean, can you get any sweeter than this? The pink is my baby pillow that is perfect for the boys.
Eli always seems to get his hats down around his face or off--one of the two.
Porter woke up during our dinner time. He knew we had a new visitor--Pops. Pops lets him join in on the conversation.
Gram and Pops with Porter before his bath.
Getting everyone looking at the camera.
Ahhhhh, a familiar walk. Going to coffee.
Eli and Porter enjoy their surroundings.
Me and my girls--Niki the dog, Hollie my bestie and Ceci. How I have missed them the past week!
The gang at coffee.
Day 13 pic.
Alice asked mom to get some flowers for us--these are the ones she chose.
Hollie put 2 blue bows on our mailbox in true Italian tradition. When a baby is born or you are a newlywed (sometimes), the Italians hang blue/pink/white ribbons on your gate, your car antenna, from your windows, really any item facing the street to let the world know a baby has been born or you are newly married.
Day 14 pic. It seems like we kept up everyday with a new picture. We did not follow through. I love this picture though because Eli's little features are so teeny and Porter is hanging on to his "Old Man P" status still.
And now we're home! The outfits below were made by Evan's sister Jillian. Don't the boys look like little businessmen? On the back, since we did not know names/initials, she put E1 and E2.
