We drove West to Camp Darby this weekend. It is on the coast near Pisa. The U.S. has an army base with ample lodging for families--camping, cabins, or motel room/apartments. We drove down Friday night and made a weekend of it. The base is near the beach where we occupy a little spot of sand.
Saturday morning after breakfast and a nap, we drove down to the beach for the day. We
love the beach and all the relaxing that comes with it. The boys ate a lot of sand.

The water was a perfect temperature.

Our beach buddy Eli.

Porter trying to tell us how big he is.

After a long day of swimming, napping, playing, and lots of sand, we drove along the beach front to find some dinner. Here are our beach bums--t-i-r-e-d.

"Where are your toes?" Killing some time waiting on our food.

Evan had pasta with octopus, mussels, calamari, and shrimp.

I had delicious pear ravioli.

Our first Camp Darby experience was a good one. The beach was perfect!
