Raffa: The Italian Martha Stewart

Kalynne (Evan's boss' wife) coordinated a dinner with Raffa, the Italian Martha Stewart. She and her family live in Sacile and their wine store is a stone's throw from our house. Raffa also has a wine store on base and on the side she sells her cookbook and hosts dinners in her home.

Wednesday night a few of the wives went to a full Italian dinner in Raffa's home. WOW! Let's just say she sets the bar high for "family dinners". Below are her fall table decorations. That is a REAL pomegranate--the huge piece of fruit to the right of center.
Prosecco, wine, salad, her famous tomatoes, polenta, risotto, pork with mustard sauce, (is your mouth watering yet?), pureed potatoes, homemade chocolate on top of her dessert, and ended with limoncello. Below is Raffa mixing the salad in her kitchen.
