One place I heard about almost immediately after finding out about Italy was Nove. It was described to me as the pottery place--everything is painted--Tiffany, Lenox, Williams-Sonoma, and others. Well, I went the other day with some new friends. Nove is the town and there are several shops to visit.
Shannon graciously drove with her daughter Mikayla (18 months, aka:pro-shopper), Barbara, and Laura G. went along too. Great time in the car and lots of chatting! It involved lots of questions on my part about living here and tips on traveling. No pics of the group but here is an example of what Nove has to offer.
Possible purchase next time around. Notice the stacks of painted plates, mugs, platters, bowls--it. is. endless.
Someone from PB confirm--did we sell these? This is before they are painted and fired.
It was entirely too easy to get there--trouble. And it's now marked on our GPS too. Come visit and we'll go!
