Farfalle

April 14, 2011

I joined a few moms and their kiddos to go to the Butterfly House in Bordano. It was a nice way to celebrate Spring and be with good friends. We wore our brightest colors so hopefully some butterflies would land on us.

Butterflies. Parrots. Fruit bats. Snake. Turtle.
Hanna and Tristan enjoying the butterfly that was attracted to her pink watch. Callum in his bright yellow shirt and bright blue stroller was a popular landing place for some of our little friends. We tried to stand still for a few minutes in some spots so we could attract some of our flying friends.
Laura snapped these photos of a butterfly coming in for a landing on my red shirt.
Callum was excited to have a butterfly on his head. I think we had too much black surrounding the boys for any of the butterflies to be attracted to their yellow shirts.
After our butterfly fun, we enjoyed a picnic lunch in the nearby park area. Porter and Eli loved having their food strewn across the blanket and being outside too! They discovered all their snacks sitting in the stroller and tried to get them all at one time.
Laura and Callum eating their picnic spread and soaking up some rays.
The Stroller Brigade was the last group to leave.
Loved having a day-trip getaway with my boys!
Laura snapped this photo on our way home. The entire outside area of this restaurant was covered in wisteria. April is such a pretty month here in Italy with all the flowers blooming.
