Gameday in Aggieland

October 30, 2010
We were so lucky that the same weekend all four of us were in town, there was a home game. Since Evan was going to SOS on Sunday, this would be his chance to see the Aggies play. We miss College Station as much as we miss anything else. We packed in family and friends and the boys stuck through it all--thankfully.

My cousin Ali wasn't going to the game that day, but she just had to meet the boys. So, she met us in the parking garage of all places! The boys picture even made it onto the Jumbotron during the game. We weren't going to stick around after the game for Alice and Dick's tailgate, so they met us before the game so they could meet the boys.
Kelcey. Evan was able to meet Curt and Kelcey in the summer when they traveled to Germany. I was unable to travel at that point, so it had been a long time since I had the chance to give Kelcey a hug.
The normal tailgating crew: Micah, Kris, Curt, Kelcey, and the Epsteins.
Tears were shed and we screamed like little schoolgirls. The boys were asleep by the time I met up with Anne but it was so good to hug her too!
Grandpa came to the game. Janet and Ross stayed with the boys and wheeled them around so Evan and I could go to the first half of the game. Being back in Aggieland was like coming home.
I went down before halftime to see the boys. Ross' squadron reunion was that weekend so they were hanging out at their tent and it was feeding time for the little ones. We are so fortunate to be able to go to the games. Ross and Janet have great seats and we loved seeing family and friends at one of our favorite places.
